GET TO KNOW OUR RESEARCH GROUP – EXPLORE OUR NEW ARCGIS STORYMAP

The GeoSDH research group is excited to share our first ever StoryMap. An innovative platform offered by Esri, ArcGIS StoryMaps enables users to share everything from image-rich narratives to interactive maps. As active proponents of all things map-related, our group decided to create a StoryMap of our own.

Our StoryMap – which lives here – is a quick and colourful tour through our group’s latest work and core research, with spotlights on our current graduate students. Our goal is to allow current and prospective students, researchers, potential collaborators, friends, family, and other interested readers a chance to not only learn more about what we do, but also connect. As you peruse the StoryMap, we encourage you to reach out to research group members or inquire about our work.

If you’re interested in making a StoryMap of your own, you can learn more here. If you’re a member of the McGill community, ArcGIS is available at no cost. Contact the GIC (Geographic Information Centre) to learn more and check out their workshops.
